You will be shown skills such as assisting a panicking diver, methods of surfacing a diver, various lifts to extract divers from the water under any circumstances, search and recovery techniques, oxygen administration, resuscitation techniques and many more skills enabling you to assist any diver in any situation.
A demanding and serious, but fun and rewarding program, the Rescue Diver course is designed to expand a divers knowledge and experience beyond that of a recreational level, and is a prerequisite for all leadership levels such as Divemaster, Assistant Instructor or Open Water Scuba Diver Instructor. This engrossing program teaches you to focus on other divers, as well as yourself, and shows you how to recognise and prevent a diving accident before it occurs, and how to respond if one does. Although the subject matter is serious, the course is both intensely rewarding and enjoyable.
Duration : 2 days Minimum age : 15 years old (no maximum age limit). Cost : £299
Manuals All required PADI manuals are supplied in the cost of the course and these are yours to keep on completion of the course.
